 When looking at Firefox add-ons there are quite a lot of big useful ones as well as more minor ones that simply make things easier/better, but aren't overly noticeable. "Add to Search Bar" belongs in the second category as it's not intrusive, yet it makes adding Search Engines so much easier and better. The simplicity is what makes this add-on so cool and such a must-have. Adding support for the Firefox search engine tool isn't easy as a webmaster (it's picky) and most sites don't offer support. With Add to Search Bar all you do is right click on a search input and select "Add to Search Bar" and then click okay. That's it! The search engine you just added is automatically selected and you can search away. Very simple, but very useful. |
